Plan your visit with confidence

A simple guide to preparing for your consultation, understanding OPD timings and knowing when urgent eye care may be needed.

Before your visit

A little preparation can help the clinical team understand your history and make your consultation more efficient.

Bring previous prescriptions, eye reports, scans and relevant medical records if available.

Carry a valid photo ID and any current medication details that may be relevant to your consultation.

If you are visiting under ECHS or RGHS, bring the applicable scheme card, referral/authorization documents and any supporting paperwork.

Try to arrive a little before your appointment so registration and basic checks can be completed without rushing.

Scheme patients: what to carry

If you are visiting under a government health scheme, keeping the right documents with you can make verification smoother.

For ECHS / RGHS patients

Bring your valid scheme identification, any required referral or authorization documents, and previous medical records related to the current condition. Coverage, eligibility and applicable services can vary, so confirm current requirements with the hospital before treatment.
